A great add on to the rental for in-laws, teenagers, or people you just don't want to be around! We offer the option of renting the additional small A Frame companion unit in conjunction with the Main House for an additional $125/night. The Large house main floor has two large bedrooms (king and queen beds), full bath, and a large open great room combining kitchen, dining area and living room with full floor to ceiling windows to take in the views. There is a spacious sleeping loft with TV and King Bed and a Twin bed that also enjoys lake views. Wood fireplace and propane ground floor fireplace make it cozy in the winter months. This room is great for children or teenagers. The ground floor has its own newly remodeled bathroom. There is a full laundry facility in the separate utility room on the ground floor. There is a boat ramp with access to the water but no boat dock. There is a chained, anchored mooring buoy in the water in front of the house, as well as a single piling to tie up to. We recommend easily pulling your boat on to the trailer on the boat ramp in the evening. This vacation home has been well loved for many years as a family gathering place during both the winter and summer months. It is the perfect place to bring your family to rest, relax, swim and watch the waterfowl, spectacular sunsets and sunrises or to just sit out on the spacious lawn in the sunshine! Great mountain biking and scenic walks right out the back door. Multiple excellent wineries are around the lake and within an easy 30 minute drive at the most. Stroll down the winding path to the lawn area and on to the lake. Share our peaceful patio and the cut-field-stone deck overlooking the water. Make use of our lawn games, cornhole and bocci ball. We also have two kayaks that are available; no charge. There is a buoy for boat tie-up, but no boat dock or ramp. Pay to launch about 1/4 mile away. Want the Perfect Outdoor Rustic Adventure? Fisherman, water Lover, Birdwatcher, Outdoors-man? This place is for YOU! Some 80+ years ago when this log cabin was originally built, hundreds of cabins dotted the lake shore and surrounding mountains, but today, this historic building is the only such family cabin on Clearlake that you can rent to relive that backwoods experience. Located on a five acre private estate in secluded honeymoon cove. Our Family Cabin was quite large for cabins built in it's day, and includes three rooms. The front room is a large open dining room and living room with a Murphy bed hidden in the wall. On the right is kitchen, updated a bit but still rather vintage. In the back is a large bedroom with both a bunk bed and another Murphy bed that comes down from the wall. Both rooms have lake views and connect to a bathroom with a claw foot tub. Ideal for small children as the lake has a gradual entry into the lake and they don't have to dive off a dock or wall to get into the water.

The modern Suite is in the Technology House with its own private entrance. There is a gas BBQ and an eating counter for two outside overlooking the lake at the entrance. This is the largest of our 1930’s Cabins and will sleep 11. The Great Room has an oval dining table with 6 leather chairs and can take a couple folding chairs to seat 8 next to windows with a stunning view of the lake. Also this large L shaped Great Room has 3 Bunk Beds that double as a Futon Couch during the day and makes into a Double/Full Bed at night with a Twin Bed up top. During the day, they are couches and at night beds giving plenty of seating space. There is a separate bedroom with a queen bed, a large fully appointed kitchen with small eating space, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. The bathroom has a period cast iron crow-foot bathtub converted to a shower. The spacious deck has a awesome view of the lake to watch your family play, table and chairs with your personal charcoal BBQ.
